It’s Miss U.S.A. time again. You beauty.
Nothing gets us heated up in the winter months down under than tuning into the nice and toasty Yankee contestants in America’s biggest, and probably stupidest, beauty competition.
And that’s just it. While they try and make it a well-rounded tournament asking daft babes questions about the state of affairs, it really does just come down to how well they wear a swimsuit. No protests here.
The only thing better than watching the bouncing entrants strut their stuff is enjoying the constant answer fails.
Our absolute favourite and Fail Hall of Famer was Miss South Carolina in the Miss Teen USA in 2007.
Her name was Caitlin Upton, and while not quite as well-endowed as Kate Upton, she received nearly as much fame with her idiotic response to a question about why Americans can’t locate the USA on a world map.
A highlight during her stroke-out included: “I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as.”
WTF? I’ve made more sense after consuming my weight’s worth in hard liquor.
This year in the Miss USA pageant it was a hilarious-to-watch struggle street for Miss California, Nadia Mejia, when she was asked about the gap between the rich and the poor.
Lucky she looks the way she does is all we can say.
To help Ms Mejia atone we’re giving her the chance to win your love in our Poll of the Week against eventual Miss USA winner Deshauna Barber, a definite beauty out of Columbia and a serving US Army officer to boot.
So while the pageant champion has been decided who wins the far more prestigious Blast Poll Tiara? Brainless babe or Officer Barber?
